Q: Do you ship with plastic-free packaging?

A: No, we prioritize sustainability by utilizing reused packaging materials, such as those from Amazon, FedEx, etc., which would otherwise end up in landfills. We aim to repurpose existing materials rather than introducing brand new plastic-free packaging as much as possible. These materials are collected from our local community, contributing to waste reduction and minimizing environmental impact. Additionally, for smaller and lighter items like our coffee filters, we may use recyclable packaging, such as 100% paper, to further reduce our carbon footprint.

 

Q: What kind of thread do you use?

A: We exclusively utilize 100% cotton thread in all our coffee filters. However, for our Multi-Use Cloths and Paperless Towels, we opt for polyester thread to ensure enhanced durability. Polyester thread provides superior strength, allowing our products to withstand heavy-duty cleaning or wiping tasks, thus extending their lifespan.

 

Q: How many brews can you make with your reusable coffee filter?

A: We proudly guarantee at least 365 brews with proper care. Please follow the care instructions provided with our filters. In our home, where we have heavy coffee drinkers, we often alternate between a few filters (and occasionally make multiple cups at a time), and these filters have lasted for several years and are still in excellent condition. However, when you notice a change in the taste of the coffee or find that the coffee residue doesn't rinse out after boiling, it's time to bid farewell. You can simply compost the filters in your home compost. Our filters are made with 100% cotton and 100% cotton thread, ensuring they will completely break down over time.
