Earth & Son may sound like a team, but it’s really just me, Ayano, behind it all. Based in Long Beach, California, I started this eco-friendly brand in 2023 to create reusable kitchen products that are both sustainable and meaningful. The name comes from my two children: my creative daughter, born on Earth Day, and my joyful son whose energy brightens every day. It also reflects the harmony I hope to see between people and our planet. My journey toward sustainability began about 15 years ago, when I became aware of how much waste we create and how much better life feels when surrounded by well-made, lasting products instead of disposable ones. I believe that taking care of reusable items helps us slow down, live with more intention, and truly enjoy our daily routines. Every piece is handcrafted in my solar-powered home studio and shipped in reused packaging collected from our community, so together we can take small steps toward a more sustainable world.
